Chikwe Ihekweazu, the Director-General of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), has exposed that SMS (short meaning service) to Nigerians on coronavirus is totally funded by the agency's secret partners.
The NCDC DG disclosed this during an interview by the Presidential press on COVID on Friday.
Responding to a interrogation by a reporter, Ihekweazu replied:
“We did not used up a dime on messaging in divergent to the fake news flooding the media.
“In fact, I also received the message like every other Nigerian. It is essentially funded by our concealed partners.”
It can be recalled that an article had surfaced on gathering media portentous that the NCDC washed-out N10 billion to educate Nigerians on COVID-19 through bulk messages.
However, the activity dismissed the news stating that despite the fact that SMS was sent but the denial on costs of N1bn naira is FALSE.
