Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, has urged citizens to rise above politics and electioneering campaigns in the majestic and labor with the control to realise his Make Edo Great Again (MEGA) agenda.
Obaseki, who insisted that MEGA agenda was expected at civilizing livelihoods and ensuring financial opulence for Edo people, gave the state after being paid a visit by the Ijaw Youths committee of Nigeria, Edo Chapter, who visited him at the direction House, Benin City.
He said that his administration is focusing on education, healthcare and electricity, reassuring that everything would be passed down in his government.
Reassuring his administration’s to guarantee that items gets to Ijaw and every one other communities of the state, he said: “I am sharp on the advancement of the area, but we can succeed once we are united.
“Political and ethnic harmony is vital as this will set a limit us to address with one tone of voice and do in harmony with the collective fascination of lifting our people.”
Responding to this, the boss of the delegation, Comr. Peter Toruwei, applauded Obaseki for his position and assist for the Ijaw populace and reaffirmed their pillar and binder to the victory of the Obaseki-led processing.
