Factories Closed Down In Rivers State Over Poor Hygiene

 Governor Wike's attempt on Rivers State to improve the quality of living in Rivers State has not been emphazised. One of which is promoting good hygiene across the region by improving food and water supply to citizens.

Today, he closed down there water industries within the Diobu area of Port Harcourt. He closed them down because they were guilty of poor production facilities.

Commissioner of Water Resources in the states, Tamunosisi Jaja who facilitated this activity led the government delegation to these facilities, this delegation were committed to serve the good people of Rivers by giving them good water supply. He was spotted saying while in inspecting these facilities around the state that their job as commissioners is to serve the citizens of Rivers State, to guard their life and property, and to ensure their health is well taken care of.

 While speaking to pressmen in Port Harcourt he stated that the condition of the factories that produce these sachet water are in poor conditions and the environment where these products are made are not conducive to work in. Apart from closing down these facilities he also made sure he gave them at least two weeks notice to vacate the premises or improve the conditions of their factories.
