Ifeanyi Ubah is a Nigerian politician and entrepreneur. He is the Chief Executive Officer at Capital Oil and a founder of top Nigerian football league club, Ifeanyi Ubah FC.
In a recent interview with BBC when asked about what he has done to promote the Igbo race, he revealed that he has done a lot for his tribesmen and that one of which is that he paid for Ojukwu medical bills while he was on his sick bed. For reference, Ojukwu was the top Igbo freedom fighter who fought for the Igbo freedom around the early 90s. According to Ifeanyi Ubah, the cost of Ojokwu's hospital at that time was about £30,000, that is according to the latest dollar to naira rate is about 16 million naira.
In the same interview he even stated that apart from paying the medical bills of Ojokwu, he was part of the top Igbo business men that pleaded with the former Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Raji Fashola for the reopening of the Ladipo spare parts market that was dominated by the Igbos when it was closed due to some reasons.
The current Anambra senator also disclosed that he would like to meet Nnamdi Kanu and discuss with him about the Igbo race and what he should do.
