The presidency on Thursday led by Mohammadu Buhari once again insisted that his tenure is one of the most successful regimes in Nigeria's history. He stated that in terms of security, the government has been able to deploy troops to war tone areas to control the activity of bandits and terrorists in those zones and have been able to minimize their harm. In terms of the economic development during his tenure he mentioned that with the limited resources on ground they've been able to make wise use of the resources to help Nigerians. He also acknowledged that although it will be difficult for Nigerians to appreciate what the APC led government have done, that in contrast to the time and money they've used they have been successful in this regard.
In contrast to what was said by the president, the Peoples Democratic Party through Ologbondiyan had come out to say that the best according to Buhari is the worst for Nigerians. He made this statement while on a phone call to Punch Newspapers on Thursday. According to him, he stated that before the president came into power, he promised Nigerians security and a corrupt free government but in reality insecurities have made Nigerians a laughing stock to other countries in Nigeria and corruption resides with Ask Rock with him and that his tenure has been nothing short of hellish to Nigerians as a whole.
