Prof. Josiah Ajiboye, Registrar, Teachers Registration board of Nigeria(TRCN), says Nigerian teachers are now further competitive globally.
Ajiboye, disclosed this at the last part of the break of a one-day instruction workshop for Education Correspondents Association of Nigeria (ECAN) on Friday in Karu home management section of Nasarawa State.
He distinguished that the narrative about the view of Nigerian teachers had begun to change as it should be to instill consciousness to make them at par with their counterparts globally.
He believed that unlike before Nigerian teachers had to undergo a selected press flat of education abroad before getting free appointments, but in a now they were given on hand jobs straight up.
The TRCN boss broaden prominent that if the statement set by head Muhammadu Buhari for teachers’ welfare was followed through, they would be expectant to keep on in Nigeria.
Ajiboye also said that TRCN was effective inflexible to make certain that single experienced and registered person were qualified to teach in schools.
He pointed out that before at instant thinking was an the entire all comers’ affair but nowadays they had identified that in attendance was a new sheriff in town.
